   Congratulations for a great response

   It feels good when your hard work pays off, and especially since this is a mostly a not-for-profit kind of project. It gives more satisfaction to all OurSurat team. It has been a great platform for the new comers to be on this project and to get exposure in front of this large audience.

   Also the help in things other then just project development was also respectable.

   I’m very happy to be part of this team

   Web has the power and it’s great when the people can use that power easily without much fuss. We use internet daily for friends, chatting,mails etc etc. But in essence what it gives is a portal to loads of information.

   I see Our Surat as a that kind of portal to normal people so that they can access their day to day information without fondling through books, diaries, directories and help centers easily, since they may not get updated frequently and other problems with them. Web can be a great medium to get glimpse of the latest happenings and up-to-date information almost “free-of-charge ” and I think Our Surat is full filling that.

    Actually location doesn’t matter. Even people living from oceans away from Surat, they always miss Surat due to many reasons They always stay in Surat by heart.     OurSurat presents diverse information.
    I say OurSurat is really Mirror of surat as it is providing all information needed by person of any age.
    New Version of OurSurat provides consistent look and feel, Specially way to present information is just excellent.
    It has veriety of information that needed by person during entire day span without finding it out from other sources.
    I am seeing OurSurat as being wiki for Surat.

    Whats the use of this response.
    The fact is that Surat has no online presence. I am searching for a website(I have checked all the famous ones insurat.com hellosurat etc) and your and not one of you people have a listing of all the New year Eve parties taking place today.
    Absolutely no online presence this is useless website when on such a HAPPENING day nothing is happening on your website.
    How much does it take to list all the events happening in surat??

    First of all, thank you for your honest feedback. You are right that Surat has no online presence, but actually thats why we are trying to do it. Still we are not recovered from IT Expo effect otherwise, we could list events for today (you’re right that its not big deal) but surely its nice suggestion and we are putting it in our priority list.

    BTW, You can visit Royal Park Resort, they are suppose to get some good foreign (as far as I heard) dancers and good DJ for the party. You can go there.

    I had visited Oursurat.com. It really a great platform for all the suratis to interact with each other for the various aspects like social, Professional , Fun , inquires and many more.

    This is the good initiative taken by the Avinashi team to aware the suratis people.
    Though surat is fastest growing city in india but still people are less aware and less using the Web – business & technologies.

    Surat City can become the no.1 Business City if people become aware about the various facts about the Busincess and these all aspects are covered by Avinashi Team.
